Detailed description
It takes its name from its round shape resembling a rosebud. A cheese, spinach or minced meat filling is spread on hand-rolled pastry sheets, rolled up and then coiled into a spiral on the tray. It bakes with crispy edges and a soft centre — a favourite at tea time.
